Sina Theil

Originally from Germany, Sina Theil picked up a guitar at the age of 18 and in a few short years she has flourished as an accomplished singer/songwriter. Sina arrived in Dublin to pave her career on the Irish music scene and become a student of song writing at BIMM while making her way busking on the streets of Dublin. After 1 year she embarked on a full time vocal course and gained experience in live performance as the front-woman of a rock group.

This year Sina turned her attention to working on her debut solo album. In collaboration with Downda Road Productions, Sina is in studio recording material that varies from playful light-rock tracks with urban influences to heartfelt ballads with an alt-country vibe. Sina’s clear abilities as a songwriter are enhanced further by her unique voice and compelling stage presence. The last few months have seen Sina gigging around the country supporting artists such as Mundy, Underhill Rose, and a recent charity album launch in Dublin saw her appear on stage alongside Mundy and Paddy Casey to accompany them for a few tunes.

Sina’s first single ‘Weight of The World’ appeared on the Charity Album ‘The Positive Touch’ alongside tracks from artists such as Paddy Casey, Mundy, The 4 Of Us, The Devlins, The Blades, Gavin Glass and more. Sina released her first commercial single in July 2017 ‘To the Mountains’ featuring vocals from Katie Gallagher.

Since its release To the Mountains has climbed to #1 on the iTunes download charts and has been receiving airplay all over the country including being selected as song of the week on Highland Radio. Sina had a very successful single launch in The Workman's Club Dublin and is continuing to tour her new material all over the country.
