Olivia Burke

Hailing from the midlands of Ireland teenage singer songwriter Olivia Burke has already released her first single. “Missing” was inspired by the story of Madeleine McCann and was released to help raise awareness for M.I.S.S. (Missing in Ireland Support Services). Olivia was recently invited by the Minister for Justice to perform Missing at an event remembering missing people. Unafraid to tackle the hard issues that face the youth of today, Olivia's next recording, an acoustic demo for “Stronger Than Words”, deals with issues of peer pressure, bullying and self harm. The video for Stronger Than Words has been used in many schools as part of their anti bullying campaign. Olivia had the pleasure of performing Stronger Than Words at Teen Aware 2013, sharing the stage with District 3, Original Rudeboys, Ryan O’Shaugnessy, Royseven to name a few. Olivia is taking every opportunity to gain stage experience playing festivals and charity functions.

In 2014 Olivia was shortlisted to the last 33 from thousands of entries for the Hot Press Big Break award. More recently Olivia has been touring the country playing some of the most prestigious venues including Whelans, Roisin Dubh, The Workmans Club and The International. Olivia has also performed again at Teen Aware in 2014 and 2015. Olivia is delighted to have successfully raised money to record her EP through FundIt and has spent the summer working on fresh sounds and songs that will introduce her to a brand new audience. Her EP 'Notes on my Napkin' is released on 30th October 2015.
